The non-structural protein NS1 of the dengue virus is se- creted into the bloodstream during the acute stage of Den- gue infection (0-7 days).
As there is no specific treatment for Dengue, early detec- tion is critical as it allows monitoring health and accessing medical services, lowering the chances of progressing to se- vere Dengue.
People infected with Dengue can have symptoms that range from mild and asymptomatic (about 80%) to severe flu-like symptoms that can lead to death.
INTENDED USE
Turklab’s Dengue NS1 Test is a rapid chromatographic im- munoassay for the qualitative detection of Dengue NS1 an- tigen in whole blood, serum, or plasma.
• No cross-reactivity verified with HAMA, RF, HBsAg, HBsAb, HBeAg, HBeAb, HBcAb, Syphilis, HIV, HCV, H. Pylori, MONO, CMV, Rubella, and TOXO positive controls.
• A wide range of samples can be used, including plasma, serum, capillary blood, or venous blood.
